94th Holyland Postal Bid Sale

FIRST SURVIVORS' MESSAGE, BELGIUM TO THE USA 1944. Belgian pc sent from Ignace Linkowski in Wendduine, to his brother Dave Linkowski in NY. Both brothers immigrated from Poland to Belgium during the early 1930's, dated 12 Dec 1944, Flemish text has: "Dear Dave & Fanny, my first card to you was not replied... Have lived in Antwerpen (Anvers) during the war (apparently undercover).. . Have heard nothing from Poland for about two & a half years...How are you... ". Pmkd 13 Dec.44, circular "278" Belgian (?) & US Censor markings; card was redirected in NY. Low left comer folded, Fine.
