Domestic letter from Lamia Dec. 21 1861 fr. with a pair of 10l. and boxed "ΠΛΗΡ. ΑΝΕΠΑΡΚΗΣ" (insufficiently paid) because of double weight. Endorsed "via the Greek steamship" and taxed in Syros with 2 pairs of 5l. provisional. A very seldom seen combination. A unique and spectacular showpiece depicting the postal practices of the time. (Hellas 4b+11Ib).
