VENETIAN OCCUPATION 1386-1797. EL dated Corfu 25th September 1712 to Venice. Only just over a hundred covers are recorded pre 1797 from the Ionian Islands to Venice, most of which are 18th century. The EL was fron E. Cohen to Em. Mercavia and carried privately, manuscript "Con Sr. Carlo Lombardo".
