1937 (Jul 22) Tientsin via Lanchow to Sining airmail cover, f.w. Martyrs 30c on reverse, tied by Tientsin bilingual cds., along with Lanchow trasnit and Sining arrival. With complete and clear letter content. This cover was delivered after the outbreak of full scale war between China and Japan and days before Japanese occupation of Tientsin. The letter expressed the worry of a businessman about his timber trade and financial situation as well as the Tientsin political situation. Nice and rare. VF.
