This cover is an old collection from Wang Chi-Tse and the item from "Postmarks History of the Imperial Ching Dynasty (1876-1912)" P178, editted by Yu Chao-Nien.

1904年4月21日中式紅條封杭州寄北京掛號信，郵資6分（平信1分加掛號5分），貼蟠龍5分及1分票各一枚，銷浙江杭城甲辰三月六日（農曆）干支回文戳，為此干支戳之極早使用例，於同月28日到達，銷北京郵政局橢圓戳，此封為王紀澤舊藏更是俞兆年編著《大清郵政史》第178頁實物。
