1948-49 War Arab POW mail: [7 DE 1948] stampless cover from TULKAREM to "Central Detention Camp | Prisoner no. 3381 | El-sayed Mohamed Saeed Dood El-Samra | By International Red Cross | Ramallah", originally franked (Jordanian stamp) & tied by reintroduced Mandate double-ring postmark, now removed & most of postmark not visible (manuscript date written top front, presumably dispatch); front-stamped by Iraqi Army negative censor cachet, whose expeditionary force operated in area of Qalqilya-Tulkarem-Nablus-Jenin between 15 May 1948 & April 1949; cover tied by both Red Cross GENEVA circular cachet & International Red Cross Committee RAMALLAH Delegation boxed cachet (back) & backstamped 7 DE 48 RAMALLAH transit using reintroduced Mandate single-circle date-stamp; cover passed Israeli military "base censor" whose oval cachet is on front; vertical fold, originally opened via backflap.
