SAXONY - CHINA: 1866, letter sheet from Leipzig, endorsed "Via Trieste & Suez pr. P. & O. Comps. Steamer", franked with postal stationery cutout coat of arms 5 neugroschen grey lilac, cut to shape, and 1863/67, 1 neugroschen rose (vertical crease) for the route to Alexandria, here taxed with "1/-" in black for the conveyance to Hongkong. Transit postmarks of Trieste (13 May) and Alexandria (25 May) and Hong Kong arrival mark (4 July) on front and back. An attractive cover with a rare franking and destination. Steamer", frankiert mit Ganzsachenausschnitt Wappen 5 Neugroschen graulila, rund geschnitten, und 1863/67, 1 Neugroschen rosa (senkrechter Bug) für die Strecke bis Alexandria, hier für die verbleibende Strecke mit "1/-"in schwarz taxiert.
