Thursday Jul 02, 2020 19:00 America/Argentina/Buenos_Aires

17/MAR/1874 Buenos Aires - Paris: Entire letter endorsed via (steamer) "Neva, via Southampton", dispatched at Hibbert & Cía (115½ Florida street, Buenos Aires), it paid a double domestic rate with 10c. Belgrano (GJ.39), cancelled with rhombus "B" of that postal agency. The double international rate was paid with 1s. green (1867/9) and 2p. blue (1858, plate 14), that were not cancelled according to the uses and practices for those shipments. The National Mail applied the circular datestamp of Buenos Aires 17/MAR/1874 to carry it to the ship (Neva), which arrived at Southampton on 18/AP, with London transit (20/AP) where it also received the red "PD" and the postage stamps were cancelled with the "barred 8" killers (the British stamps and also the Argentina postage). It entered France via Calais, and arrived at Paris on the same day 20/AP, excellent quality and rare, with Alberto Solari certificate.
