Auction # 2024 WORLDWIDE - ARGENTINA: Special June auction

AIRPLANE CRASH: Airmail cover sent from Germany to Rio de Janeiro, carried on the plane Tapajos that crashed on 3/MAY/1934 on the bay of Guanabara, its original postage is missing and instead it shows a violet mark of the Brazilian post indicating the wreck, also with signs of water damage. The lot also includes 2 newspaper clippings with news about the crash and the mail, very interesting!
