Auction #1928 WORLDWIDE + ARGENTINA: General Winter auction

Cover sent from NEWCASTLE to Germany on 19/JA/1880, franked with 2p. blue + 6p. lilac with "55" numeral duplex cancel, due mark of 1½p. for insufficient postage, transit marks of Sydney (20/JA) and London (4/MAR), it arrived in Eberswalde on 6/MAR and was forwarded to Charlottensburg, with arrival on the same day. With some stain spots, all the same very attractive and interesting!
