Cover sent from NEWCASTLE to Bad Ems (Germany) on 7/JUN/1877, franked with 2p. with "55" numeral cancel (the original postage had another stamp, lost in transit to Europe). With transit marks of Sydney (8/JUN), London (30/JUL), arriving in EMS on 31/JUL and forwarded to WILBAD (arrival 1/AU), with manuscript inscriptions by postal clerks on front and back, fine quality, very interesting!
