Imperial Post 1876 (Jan 17): Envelope from Constantinople to Tiflis, bearing 1872 3 kop. green and 5 kop. blue, both perf. 14½, tied by fair "KONSTANTIN 17 JAN 76" cds in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 12). Tiflis arrival cds in black alongside (Jan 25). Stamps crossed by light crease, backflap missing and cover with some wrinkles and edge wear, nevertheless an interesting franking to pay the 8 kop. rate which came into force in 1875.rnProvenance: Collection Cihangir, Corinphila sale 123 (Oct 2000), lot 3601.
