1865 (Oct 18): Triple rate Lettersheet from Messina to London, bearing four examples of 1863 DLR 40 c. rose-carmine in mixed franking with 1865 (Jan) 'Ferro di cavallo' 20 on 15 c. sky-blue 'celeste chiaro', Type I, tied by four strikes of MESSINA cds in black, "P.D." handstamp in black and "LONDON PAID" arrival cds in red (Oct. 23) alongside.
