PSNC & RMSP 1866 (April 25): Entire letter from Chillan to France franked by Santiago printing 1865 5 c. rose-red, tied by "Cancelled" obliterator in black and thence on PSNC Steamer to Panama. Carried on the RMSP Steamer "Tyne" from Colon tro St. Thomas and thence per "Tasmanian" to Southampton. London (June 12) cds in red on reverse and struck there with framed "GB / 1F 90c." accountancy marking. Calais transit and reverse with four French transits, charged '12' décimes due upon arrival. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 187. A scarce overseas usage.rn
