French Merchant Ships 1827 (Oct 26): Second sheet of entire letter from Cayenne to Bordeaux, endorsed "par la Mélanie", struck on despatch with "GUYANE FRANCAISE" straight line handstamp in red - rare thus. Two line entry marking "COLONIES / PAR BORDEAUX" in black. Reverse with arrival (Dec 12) in black and charged '2' décimes due in manuscript. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 165.
