Auction Series 257-264 in Zurich Day 3

1850: Entire letter from Venezia to Verona, franked with Carta a mano 15 c. dark-vermillion (2), one in type I, the other in type IIa, with good to large margins all round, each stamp tied by "VENEZIA / 9 SETTe" (1851) two line datestamp, distribution handstamp '2' alongside, reverse with "VERONA 10 / 9" arrival cds. An interesting combination usage of two stamps of the same shade but from different types. Cert. Ferchenbauer (1999) Ferchenbauer = € 1'300.
