French Shipmail in the Levant 1860 (Jan 8): Entire letter from Alexandria to Marseille, franked by Napoléon imperforated 10 c. bistre and 40 c. orange, two fine and fresh adhesives, tied by light dotted Anchor lozenge, "INDUS 8 JAN. 60" Shipmail cds (Salles fig. 786), framed PD and framed PAQUEBOTS DE LA MEDITERRANÉE in red alongside. Reverse with Marseille arrival cds (Jan 17). The Ancre obliterator was used in Marseille.
