Austrian Fieldpost Offices during the Crimean War in Moldavia 1855c (Sept 25): Newspaper Stamp 'Blue Mercury' type IIIb, a fresh example with large even margins, cancelled by "FELDPOST No 2 25/9" cds of the Austrian Fieldpost (Müller 3443a = 600 points). Thins on the reverse not distracting from the beauty of this rare usage, the only Newspaper Stamp known to the describer to be used in the Crimean War Fieldpost. Signed Vaccari; Cert. E.
