1867: Cover from Paris to Moscow, bearing Napoléon laureated 80 c. rose, two fine examples with fresh colour and good perforation, tied by light Étoile de Paris '1' numeral obliterator, despatch cds (Sept 30, 1869), framed PD in red as well as Prussian entry "AUS FRANKREICH P. SAARBRÜCKEN FRANKO 1. 10. - I" cds and framed weiterfranco "W.F. 2 Sgr." handstamp, both in pink alongside. Reverse with two Moscow arrival cds's (Sept 23). An attractive fully prepaid double rate item via Prussia to Northern Russia.
