1867/68: Rivadavia 5 c. vermilion, cross-hatched, a single example used on 1875 cover to Marseille, carried on French Packet 'Orenoque', well tied by cog wheel segmented cork handstamp in black. Buenos Aires cds adjacent (April 10) and octagonal 'Buenos Ayres / Paq. Fr. J. No. 2' datestamp alongside (Salles fig. 1072). Reverse with Buenos Aires datestamps and Marseille arrival (May 10) where charged '12' décimes due in manuscript. Attractive cover.
