Crimean War 1854 (Sept 3): Embossed 1 s. green, a fresh example with large margins, well embossed, neatly cancelled by complete strike of "* ♚ *" crown between stars obliterator in black on piece to which the adhesive may not belong. Minor splitting along silk thread at top and bottom and very light corner crease outside design at top left, nevertheless a very rare usage and attractive adhesive. Cert.
