1850: Ladies Envelope with honorific address and nobility wax seal from Firenze to Korompa, Hungary, franked by Carta a mano 45 c. light blue type I, fresh colour and good margins on three sides, shaved at base, tied twice by "F. POST. II" Fieldpost handstamp (Sassone R3 = € 37'500 / Müller 322a = 680 points), reverse with "MANTOVA 19. GIU." transit and "TIRNAU 24 / 6" arrival cds in blue. An extremely rare usage of this Fieldpost cancellation during the Austrian occupation of the Italian States in the years 1849-1854. Receiver is Comtesse Henrietta de Chotek-Brunsvik (1789-1857) at her residency in Korompa in Upper Hungary, nowadays Slovakia. Signed Colla; cert.
