Madagascar, British Inland Mail, 1884 (March): Lot comprising Typographed Postal Packet 4 d. magenta on buff with '1 oz.' amended to '4 oz.' in manuscript, hollow stop after 'B' of BCM, a used example handstamped "British Vice-Consulate / Antananarivo" in black, large margins all round with vertical rouletting, with diagonal red manuscript ink cancellation; and ​1886 Typographed 4 d. rose with stop after value, an unused example with "British Consular Mail Antananarivo" circular cachet in black.
