Lithographed by Van der Sandt, Villiers & Co. 1884 (Feb 29): 6 d. lilac-mauve, perf. 12, a used example of good colour, minor age spots at top, superbly cancelled by KIMBERLEY double arc cds (3 March 1885) struck in black: thus probably used by a member of the Warren Expedition. Slight horizontal crease but much under-catalogued in this describer's opinion, a rare and spectaular usage Gi = £ 400.
