1872/79: 1 s. green, wmk. Crown CC, perf. 14, a used marginal example on 1878 cover to London, Matthews correspondence, tied by "A06" obliterator in black. BELIZE despatch datestamp at left (Dec 16). Reverse with London arrival (Jan 14, 1879) in red. The envelope with file folds and edge imperfections and would appear better if judiciously refolded at left, nevertheless an exceptionally scarce usage of this issue on letter.rnProvenance: Collection Maurice Burrus, RL, London, 26 Nov 1963, lot 178.
