1938: Waterlow Pictorial issue, Essay for the proposed 1 s. value 'St. John's Harbour', hand-painted in deep green and pale red green with Harbour in blue and lettering and value in Chinese white on card (140 x 88 mm.) in vertical format, similar to the design of the issued 6 d. value, painted by the designer A.
