Celliers, perforated 12 1883 (April-May): 1 d. black and 3 d. pale rose, used on 1883 cover to Middelburg, Cape Colony, tied by circular "6." numeral obliterator with corresponding CHRISTIANIA / TRANSVAAL cds at left (Dec 14) in black. Reverse with flap missing but showing 'Kimberley' transit cds (Dec 15) and part Middelburg arrival. The 1 d. value with large Plate Flaw on 'P' of POSTZEGEL at top, a scarce franking and a rare issue on letter.
