Nicosia Lithographic "30 PARAS" Surcharges 1882 (May 22): 30 pa. on 1 pi. rose, Die I, wmk. Crown CC, a used horizontal strip of five (Types 1-5) on 1882 registered cover to Hull, all tied by "Larnaca / Cyprus" squared circle datestamps (June 11) in black with circular "Larnaca / Cyprus" circular datestamp at left and oval "Registered / Cyprus" (June 11) struck in red below. London transit (June 19) in red and reverse with Hull arrival cds. Some trivial cover bends and aging but a magnificent and extremely rare usage of this provisional issue on letter.
