1847/54: Embossed 6 d. purple with large margins all round used in combination with Line Engraved 1854/57 1 d. red-brown and Surface Printed 1855/57 4 d. carmine on lightly blued paper on 1855 cover to Genova,m Italy via France, all tied by London '16' numeral obliterators and by Calais entry marking in black. Oval red 'PD' below and reverse with London despatch (Oct 5) and Genova arrival (Oct 9) datestamps. Minor imperfections but a remarkable and most appealing cover showing all three of the first printing processes of Great Britain adhesives on a single cover. Signed Darteyre. Cert.
