1864/79: 1 d. red, Plate 120, twelve examples on 1873 cover used to pay the 1 shilling rate to Madras, India, all tied by eight strikes of the 'Nottingham / 583' duplex (Dec 4) in black. Reverse with "Sea / Post Office / E" cds (Dec 12) and carried on the 'Hydaspes' from Suez. Extremely unusual franking and most attractive.
