1841: 1 d. red-brown on lightly blued paper, lettered JK, a used example with good margins all round, on 1842 entire letter written from St. Gallen, Switzerland to London, and tied by black Maltese Cross when the entire was readdressed to Manchester. ST. GALLEN despatch cds at left (Jan 24) in black, thence via Huningue (Jan 26) and with "Suisse / Belfort" entry marking in red on obverse. London cds in red on reverse with further Manchester arrival cds (Feb 1) in black. An extremely scarce entire. Signed Köhler. Cert. K-A Louis AIEP (2000).
