1840: 1 d. black, Plate 4, lettered TH, a used example with large sheet margin at base with part inscription "(HA)ND SIDE of the", the stamp shved at right with large margins on other two sides, tied to 1840 entire letter from London to Dublin by Maltese Cross in red with reverse showing London despatch (June 2) and Dublin (June 4) arrival datestamps. A delightful and rare usage.
