Mulready Caricatures 1840: Southgate Caricature No. 5, a used example endorsed at top "Prepaid" in manuscript, mailed from London to Storrington, Sussex and struck with "St. Maryl. / 1 py. P.P." in black and by framed London Tombstone datestamp in red (18 July 1840). Reverse with one flap missing and two others with minor faults but a most attractive usage - unlisted by Jarvis, Bodily & Hahn and used two days prior to their listing - thus making this the earliest of the 27 known examples.
