1851/1861ca: Lettersheet used twice within an interval of approximately ten years, first with 1850 carta a mano 15 c. red tied by two strikes of two-line "S.M. MADDALENA 22. MAG." (1851) and sent via Rovigo (May 25) to Ariano, the second time with two 1861 5 so. red, tied by "ARIANO 24/10" cds's and sent to Rovigo with arrival cds (25 / 10) and distribution handstamp on reverse. An extraordinary item showing in addition the changes in rates between the centesimi and soldi rate regimes.
