Canea / Xania 1863/1867: The collection, with 38 stamps loose or on piece, all cancelled by two line dated CANEA handstamps (Tchilinghiriran fig. 533) in black, blue or brown: with 1863 Arms 2 s. yellow perf. 14 (3), 15 s. brown perf. 14 (1), 1864 Arms perf. 9½ 3 s. green (3), 5 s. rose (3), 10 s. blue (8), 15 s. brown (8) and 1867 5 s. red (7), 10 s. blue and 15 s. brown (3); with most in fine quality and showing three colour usages on piece etc. A scarce and attractive group of high catalogue value.
