1833/59: Disinfected entire letters (2), both from Constantinople to Triest via Semlin and Vienna, earlier entire disinfected in Semlin with circular SIGILLUM SANITATIS circular cachet in black and SIG. SANITATIS SEMLINENSIS complete red wax seal (rare thus); 1859 entire with superb strike of scarce oval framed NETTO DI FUORA E DI DENTRO cachet applied in black. From 1859 Turkish coriers were entrusted with the Constantinople-Vienna route. A scarce and fine pair that Exhibit well.
