Corrientes 1874: (3 c.) black on dull lilac-rose, Type 8, First Printing, a fine used example with close to large margins all round, tied to 1874 cover to Mercedes by "Corrientes" circular datestamp (April 1) in black. The cover with slight imperfections but a rare and appealing early usage of this adhesive. Signed Holcombe, G. Lamy Gi P65 = £ 200/Scott = $ 400.
