1853/64: Cape Triangulars, the used reference collection with Perkins Bacon 1853 1 d. pale brick red, 4 d. deep blue and 4 d. blue; 1855/63 1 d. brick-red, 4 d. blue (2) on white paper, 6 d. pale rose lilac (2), 1 s. bright yellow-green, 1 s. deep dark green (2); De La Rue 1863/64 1 d. deep carmine, 1 d. brownish red (two shades), 4 d. blue with three shades, 6 d. bright mauve unused and 1 s. emerald used; nearly all with full margins all round, a generally fine and useful lot (20 items) Gi = £ 5'500+.
