Used Abroad 1855/57: 1 d. red, Die II, lettered FG-FL, a horizontal strip of six, used on small piece with six fair to fine strikes of the "A98" Mailboat obliterator cancellation struck in black. Attributed by Kay Horowicz to the Cunard Line, Atlantic Naval Station, Nova Scotia, a similar strip was in the Hugh Wood collection, see the Spink "Mailboats" sale of March 7, 2007 (lot 1158). Imperfections but scarce and most attractive Gi = £ 420+.
