1925/37: Group of 14 Pioneering Aviation Flight covers, comprising among others; 1931 special printed envelope Marcel Goulette and Andre Salel record breaking return flight Djibouti to Marseille with special cachet (14 printed envelopes with cachet known); 1932 first flight to Dakar; 1937 Andre Japy world distance record return flight to Marseille with cachet correctly dated '1937'; 1931 First Flight Nairobi, Kenya to London from Captain Tom Campbell Managing Director Wilson Airways with enclosed typed letter explaining the cover was flown on first official flight; 1927 'Pelican' Crash cover with violet three line cachet "Owing temporary failure / Air Service Mail / forwarded normal routes"; also two covers from Kokstad to House of Assembly, Cape Town, one sent registered, both with "S.A. AIR MAIL / S.A. LUGPOS" datestamps and a 1925 Parcel Post printed label affixed to large parcel piece sent from Durban to East London, with small size 'S.A. AIR MAIL / S.A. LUGPOS' postmark.
