Auction 333-341 Europe & Overseas Americas (North, Central & South America) - Day 1

1863: 5 c. orange, collection of twenty-six items, presented upon three album pages, comprising rare tête-bêche vertical pair used, one of three recorded (Bortfeldt certificate); a small piece with three singles, two are type 4 (the inverted position) and one type 2 which is a unique franking (Bortfeldt certificate); also two tête-bêche horizontal pairs one unused and one used on small fragment; also a cover with 5 c. dated 28 November 1864 (one stamp missing) sent from Rionegro to Medellin and six unused singles and twelve used singles and three used pairs, an excellent lot, some faults and conditon mixed, although a valuable assembly.
