Corinphila Auction 291-297 Day 4

1927 (July 25): Registered envelope from Camaiore to Lucca, bearing 1927 2,65 l. violet perf. 11 in combination with 1908 40 c. brown, tied by clear "CAMAIORE LUCCA" cds in black, information strike and matching registration label alongside. Reverse with LUCCA arrival cds of the next day. Roughly opened on top, not impairing stamps and postmarks, nevertheless a most appealing franking. Cert. E. Diena (1986) Sassone = € 1'750.
