1695/1850: Collection of 49 prephilatelic letters beginning with a very early letter from NANTES to GENT, including six Napoleonic P Departement P cachets, namely 2 ANNECI, 10 CACASSONNE, 20 CHATTILLON SUR SEINE, 33 MONTPELLIER, 61 CALAIS and 104 TURIN. There are further interesing items, principally from Napoleonic times with interesting cachets from Germany and Italy, and some Swiss destinations with interesting transit marks.
