William Wyon 1837: The "Wyon City Medal" struck to commemorate Queen Victoria's accession to the throne and her visit to the City of London in 1837, examples (2), one in Bronze and the much rarer example struck in Silver and inscribed "In honour of Her Majesty's Visit to the Corporation of London 9th Nov. 1837". The head struck by William Wyon was to be copied by Henry Corbould and utilised for all the stamps and Postal Stationery issued in Great Britain until 1901.
