Danish West Indies, Second British Occupation 1814 (Feb 9): Entire letter from St. Croix to Aberdeen endorsed 'per Packet', struck with superb "ST. CROIX" fleuron datestamp (March 7) in black. Rated at '2/6d.' to pay comprising thr Packet Letter charge and inland Postage from Falmouth. Front struck with octagonal arrival datestamp (April 9) in red. Horizontal file fold, nevertheless an attractive and extremely rare superb St. Croix strike.
