Chalons 1868/74: 3 d. greenish-brown used on 1872 printed "HMS Basilisk" envelope, sensibly restored especially on reverse, from Brisbane to Sydney tied by rayed "QL" obliterator with Brisbane despatch cds (Feb 14) and oval framed "LOOSE / SHIP / LETTER" in black alongside. Sydney arrival on reverse (Feb 17). Listed in the Ben Palmer Queensland census on page 109. Delightful.rn
