Corinphila Auction 291-297 Day 1

Overprinted at the British Residency, Bushire 1915: 2 Chahis on 5 ch. red on cream postal illustrated stationery card (H&G 2) overprinted 'BUSHIRE / Under British / Occupation' in black (18½ and 1½ mm. gaps), an unused example with illustration "Préparation d'Opium à Shiraz" printed in indigo and grey-black. Hinge remnants on picture side but a very rare card.
