Attempted Transatlantic Flight by Charles Ulm in his Avro X VH-UXX 'Faith in Australia' 1933 (July 27 - Oct.12): Lot two printed special envelopes with diff. topics in blue and red, 'Daily Mirror' frontpage: "PLANE CAUSES STAMPEDE - 4 Pinned Under Wing of Ulm's Machine" of the Portmarnock's Velvet Strand disaster (July 27. 33), further two original photographs with one of the 'Tide washed over the aircraft, 'Certificate of Safety' for Charles Ulm's aircraft issued at Mascot (Aug. 28,1938) as well as three commemorative flight covers: "40th Anniversary of First Non-Stop Transatlantic Flight" (June 15,1959), each signed by James Fitzmaurice and Paddy J.P. Saul.
