1847/1970: Collection in one large self designed volume beginning with an unfranked letter from KILLALA to DUBLIN bearing a Circular 2 PAID mark and a blue despatch KILLALA, and an 1847 "SOCIETY OF FRIENDS" letter dealing with feeding the poor in DUBLIN. A small range of forerunners is followed by a good section of overprints including 1922 to 10/- with full og, a 1925 issue 5/- superb used, and the 1935 high values all vfu. 1940 definitives with 1/- full og. Later issues with a small number of letters are mostly collected in both conditions. A very clean recommendable lot.
