1872 (May 5): Quintuple rate Cover from Simbirsk to Perchtoldsdorf nearby Vienna bearing 1866 20 kop. blue & orange on vertically laid paper in combination with 1 kop. yellow & black (2) and 30 kop. rose & green (2, slightly detached for inspection) on horizontally laid paper, five fine and fresh examples, tied by SIMBIRSK despatch cds. Reverse with another despatch, three Moscow transit datestamps, WIEN transit and PERCHTOLDSDORF arrival (May 25, gregorian) cds's. Horizontal file fold well away from the appealing three-colour franking, some edge wear as to be expected from such a heavy cover, slightly shortened at right, nevertheless a most interesting and attractive usage,
